“I’m waiting for my teeth.”
One of the cutest and worst things to happen to a child is losing and waiting for their two front teeth to come in.
Every week, for homework, Xander is asked to write sentences for a few words that are pre-determined. This week, “waiting” and “midnight” were two of the words.
Here are his sentences:

If you can’t understand his chicken scratch (I keep telling him his teachers won’t accept messy homework after 1st Grade), they say:
“I’m waiting for my teeth.”
“I ate before midnight.”
I am proud of these sentences because I think his toothless grin is amazing, plus, Richard Linklater’s BEFORE MIDNIGHT comes out soon. Anything remotely relative to the love that Linklater, Delpy and Hawke have created is awesome.
